Ive come a long way since I just picked up a guitar. I have learned how to tune a guitar and learned how to read notes of a sheet of paper or an app. I realized that I am a little more musical than I expected and should have done music as a hobby. I used to play saxaphone for elementary school but that did not last long. The toughest thing I have encountered was not having enough time to practice and get used to it so it becomes fluent. I am not stressing out about it though I know I still have time and will grind when I really have to. As of now I just have to keep practicing the notes of the song I will be playing called "Im Yours" by Jason Mraz. Playing the guitar is just helping me become a more well rounded person. Rather than just everyone thinking all I do is play sports.
Hey Kian, nice job man, I'm actually really happy that your stepping out of your natural sports niche and into the world of music, but I can't help but wonder what your are you actually doing to help out others and make people around you or even the world a better place, I understand that 20 time is time for us to peruse something other than class work, but I don't think mr. Orre was talking about making it a personal goal to finally have time to learn guitar. Now that being said maby make a song or start to build up a following of people in social media to then help out maby younger kids who are not as fourtunate as us to play guitar or get lessons.
ReplyDeleteHi Kian! I like how much progress you have made already, considering how complicated the process of learning a new instrument is. I think it would be great if you included a small video with each progress report to record how much progress you have been making; it will be great to watch all of them together at the end. Great work!
